Attractions

Zenia Boulevard is the largest shopping centre in the Alicante region. Big brand shops such as Primark, Zara, Mango, H&M along with many boutiques. Shops and restaurants open until late in the evening and there are also outdoor concerts, big screen football and entertainment most Saturday evenings through the summer months. Zenia Boulevard also has a children’s fun area, large casino and bowling alley. There is a 24 hour Mcdonald’s on the roundabout near to the Zenia Boulevard and a Burger King inside.

Other places that may be of interest are:

Cartagena – a large ancient city with lots of history and beautiful architecture. It has a strong naval history and is a major cruise ship destination for tour operators cruising the Mediterranean.
Murcia – another historic city with stunning baroque architecture and an impressive cathedral.
Orihuela – the historic capital of the municipality and sits at the foot of the Sierra de Orihuela mountains.
Torrevieja – a seaside city with lots of bars and restaurants. The salt lakes can be found here as can many flamingos that feed from the lakes.
La Manga/Mar Menor – a 22km salty lagoon with high salinity that aids flotation and a wide variety of water sports.
Lo Pagan Beach – famous for its mud baths with high mineral qualities said to be very therapeutic and good for lots of ailments.
Alicante – a lively port city and capital of the province. Lots of history, with a great old town and a great nightlife scene.
Benidorm – needs no explanation and has something for everyone.
Terra Mitica – a large theme park.
Aqualandia – a large water park.
MundoMar – a popular marine animal park.
Parque Calblanque – a national park and nature reserve with great views that makes for a great day out if you want to explore totally unspoilt beaches and cliff tops with amazing views.
Orihuela Go-Karts – large Go-Kart track with paintballing, quad bikes, fun fair, games and lots of things to keep a family entertained.
Terra Natura Murcia – wildlife park.
Aqua Natura Murcia – water park.
Rio Safari – safari park in Elche.
Rojales – has some interesting cave houses, if you visit make sure you find number 13 as this is well worth a look!
